Introduction
If your company uses Airship for CRM and loyalty, Centegra Plus can be used to create and manage loyalty rewards, which can then be integrated with Airship along with the POS to activate loyalty rewards when applicable vouchers are presented at the POS.
With the Airship loyalty integration:
- Loyalty Rewards are created in Centegra Plus to specify the deals and discounts which customers can use when scanning their loyalty code.
- A loyalty code scanned at the POS is passed through to Centegra Plus and is validated against a reward based on the loyalty code prefix. The valid request is then passed on to Airship to check the loyalty code status.
- Airship confirm that the loyalty code is valid, and a message is passed down to the POS providing the option of applying the reward against the basket.
- If the reward is used, Centegra Plus updates Airship to show that the loyalty code has been used.
For more information on this integration, Contact Centegra.
Configuration
For any new Airship Integration, Centegra will complete the configuration required within Centegra Plus for you. To do this, we need the following details from Airship for your account:
- Access Token
- Account ID
- Unit ID (per location)
The Airship integration is configured on an individual site basis.
Additionally, loyalty rewards need to be configured within Centegra Plus to represent each available customer loyalty reward. More information on loyalty rewards is available in This Article.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
How Are Vouchers & Rewards Used At The POS?
The method of activation at the POS varies per system. For more information, see:
What Is The Reward Code Prefix?
Against each loyalty reward in Centegra Plus you define a three-digit code prefix; this prefix should correspond with the prefix defined against a range of vouchers created within Airship.
This way, when a voucher is scanned at the POS, the prefix at the start of the vouchers code is used to determine which loyalty reward should be triggered.
The Voucher Isn't Recognised At The POS.
If a voucher scanned at the POS is not recognised, first check that the POS is online.
Then, Click Here to check that the Centegra Plus API is fully operational, and also Click Here to check that the Airship API is fully operational.
Next, check to make sure that Airship are still able to access your loyalty data. To do this:
- Head to Company Settings > External Access & FTP > API Secure Keys.
- Locate Airship in the list, and check that the API key is enabled. (For more details, Click Here.)
If all systems are operational, check to ensure that a reward has been configured within Centegra Plus with the a code prefix the corresponds to the voucher being used.
If you are still having issues using a voucher at the POS, Contact Centegra.
