Custom Reports & Extract: Added Report Management & Report Menu Grouping
For companies with Custom Reports & Extracts, you can now manage existing reports/extracts within Centegra Plus via Reports & Analysis > Custom Reports & Extracts > Manage Reports.
Here, you can rename the reports/extracts and you can flag them as a Favourite to get them to show under the YourCompanyName Reports section in the main menu for quick access.
If the report/extract is flagged as a Favourite, an optional Menu Group Name can be assigned too.
Favourite reports/extracts with the same menu group name are grouped together within a sub-section under the YourCompanyName Reports section in the main menu.
Report Non-Revenue Items As Payment, Not Sales Revenue (NCR POS)
Product-to-payment mapping can be implemented for specific products, to convert sales entered against those products within NCR POS into a negative payment line within the transaction in Centegra Plus.
This is particularly useful for non-revenue items entered at the POS, such as Charity Donations, Cash Tips and Delivery Charges, as it prevents those non-revenue items from inflating sales within Centegra Plus and affecting any downstream integrations.
Inventory Management
Wastage Type Is Selection Now Mandatory
When declaring wastage, the Type field is now a mandatory field and a Wastage Reporting Type must be selected.
New Alert For Supplied Products Missing Suppliers
Within the System Alerts Dashboard Widget, a new alert type is available which advises if there are any Supplied type products that do not currently have an active supplier pack linked to them:
Selecting the quantity in the Value column opens a list of all affected products:
Select the product in the Product Name list to open the product in a new tab to either:
Revenue Management
New [DEPOSIT] Option Added
Within the Bank Deposit index, to help save a little time, a new [DEPOSIT] button is now available against all deposits in Preparation state.
This allows you to update an existing bank deposit to Deposited state via the list of deposits when cash leaves the site if all information is correct against the existing deposit, saving you from having to access each individual bank deposit record.
This is particularly useful for sites using the Auto-Generate Pending Deposits feature.
Period Management
Period Creation Changes
To avoid confusion when creating a new period, the [NEW PERIOD] button is now disabled if a period already exists in Current state.
When attempting to select the [NEW PERIOD], a message is shown to advise of this.
Additionally, if your company has the Company Periods feature enabled, after selecting [NEW PERIOD] you no longer need to select [GENERATE PERIOD] as your new period is created instantly.
Menu Management
Sorting Menu Sites & Destinations
So that it's easier to identify which sites and destinations a menu is assigned to, the list of sites and destinations within the menu can now be sorted by selecting the header of any column.
Customers & Loyalty
Customer Code Entry & Restrictions Update
If a Customer does not yet have a Customer Code, it is now possible to enter a code as required.
As the customers POS identifier, the code must be unique. The [GET CUSTOMER CODE] button can be selected to randomly generate a customer code if required.
If a Customer does already have a Customer Code, the field remains read only and cannot be edited.
