A time clock record can be edited whilst in Open Shift or Closed Shift state.
To edit a time clock record:
- Head to User Management > Time Clock.
All Open Shift and Closed Shift time clocks within the past 30 days are shown by default.
Within the table, you can edit the following:
- Clock In Date: Edit the clock in time for the team members shift.

Clock Out Date: Add, edit or remove the clock out time for the team members shift . Note that:
- Adding a clock out time will automatically update the state from Open Shift to Closed Shift.
- Removing a clock out time will automatically update the state from Closed Shift to Open Shift.
Alternatively, to view and edit more details against the time clock record:
- Locate the required time clock and select [EDIT].
Within the time clock record, the following is available and can be edited where applicable:
- Team Member Name: Displays the name of the team member.
- Clock In Date: Edit the clock in time for the shift for this team member, if required.

Clock Out Date: Add, edit or remove the clock out time for the team members shift . Note that:
- Adding a clock out time will automatically update the state from Open Shift to Closed Shift.
- Removing a clock out time will automatically update the state from Closed Shift to Open Shift.
- Total Hours: Displays the number of hours between the clock in and clock out dates above.
- Declared Clock In Date: Displays the clock in date declared originally by the team member.
- Declared Clock Out Date: Displays the clock out date declared originally by the team member.
- Job Role: Edit the Job Role assigned against the time clock, if applicable.
- Source Name: Displays the source of the time clock record.
- Declared Cash Tips: Edit the declared cash tips value, if required.
- Location: Edit the location assigned against the time clock, if the site contains multiple locations.
To save any changes, select either [SAVE & REMAIN] or [SAVE & EXIT].
If any breaks exist, the following is available:
- Break Start Date: Edit the break start time for the shift for this team member, if required.
- Break End Date: Edit the break end time for the shift for this team member, if required.
- Declared Break Start Date: Displays the break start date and time declared originally.
- Declared Break End Date: Displays the break end date and time declared originally.
If required:
- A break can be removed by selecting [DELETE] on the end of the row.
- A break can be added by selecting [ADD NEW BREAK] and entering the break times.
A time clock record that contains all correct information can be updated to the Approved state to prevent any further edits by selecting [APPROVE]. For more details on approval, Click Here.
