Introduction
Production Planner Periods can be shared across multiple production plans and are available to all sites. They are used within Production Plans to:
- Determine the timeframe of sales that are used to calculate the suggested production figures.
- Split the plan into different sections based on time slot.
Each section of the production plan is assigned a "Planner Period".
The Planner Period determines the following for that section:
- The layout of the section as either a List or Table. (Examples Here.)
- The sub-sections within the section which represent time slots.
For example, in the below image a Planner Period that has two time slots has been used. The quantities in the Morning Production timeslot are based on sales predictions between 6am and 12pm; the quantities in the Afternoon Production timeslot are based on sales predictions between 12pm and 6pm.
