Information on the "Line Checks" feature.

Introduction

The Line Checks feature, an integral part of the Inventory Management module, empowers users to conduct real-time stock checks, providing valuable insights into essential and high-value inventory items.

This feature allows the entry of mid-period stock counts at any given moment, enabling the identification of potential stock variances that may require resolution before the period concludes.

Line checks offer flexibility, allowing you to focus on specific inventory items without the need to check every product. For instance, line checks can be targeted towards a select few high-value items on a regular basis.

Making use of Line Check Templates, this feature allows for the organisation of products counted through line checks on a routine basis. These templates can be tailored to individual sites or made available across all sites, providing a streamlined approach to efficient inventory management

Line Check States

Information on each of the states that line checks flow through: 

• Preparation: The line check has been created and line check counts can be entered.   
• Calculated: The line check count has been entered and variances have been calculated.  
• Completed: The period that the line check falls within has been completed. 

Line Check Reporting

There are no reports specific to line checks available just yet. To see the results of line check counts, access the line check itself within the Line Checks section.
