To edit an existing reward:
- Head to Customers & Loyalty > Rewards.
- Locate the required reward and select [EDIT].
Within the existing reward, you can:
- Update The Reward Details
- Assign Exclusion Periods Against The Reward
- Remove Exclusion Periods From The Reward
Ensure that you select [SAVE] to save any changes before leaving the reward.
Update The Reward Details
Within an existing reward, the following settings can be changed:
- Reward Name: Enter the name of the reward as known within Centegra Plus.
- Reward Type: Select the reward type from the list.
- Qualifying Products Product Family: Select the Product Family that contains the products that can be discounted when the reward is applied.
- Reward Combo Product: Select the product that sales of the reward are reported against.
- Code Prefix: Enter a unique three-digit code prefix. Each of the reward vouchers generated within the third-party loyalty platform will need to be prefixed with this, to indicate which reward the voucher is for.
- Percentage Discount: If the Percent Discount reward type was selected, enter the discount percentage value.
- Valid From: Enter the date that the reward is valid from.
- Valid To: Enter the date that the reward is valid to.
Assign Exclusion Periods Against The Reward
By default, a reward is active from the start of the Valid From date until the end of the Valid To date. If the reward is can only be used at certain times within that time frame (e.g. weekdays only, or at certain times of the day), then exclusion periods within the time frame can be set.
To add exclusion periods:
- Head to the Exclusion Periods section of the reward at bottom of the page.
- Select [NEW EXCLUSION PERIOD].
Within the New Exclusion Periods window, enter:
- Week Day: Enter the day of the week that the exclusion applies.
- Start Month: Enter the first month where the exclusion applies.
- End Month: Enter the last month whether the exclusion applies.
- Start Time: Enter the time of day that the exclusion applies.
- End Time: End the time of day that the exclusion ends.
Repeat to add additional exclusion periods as required, then select [CREATE].
Example Exclusion Period Configuration
For a reward that is valid on week days only, add an exclusion for each weekend day:
For a reward that is valid every day of the week until 5pm only, and not at weekends, add an exclusion for each day of the week with the relevant times:
Remove Exclusion Periods From The Reward
To remove an exclusion period from the reward:
- Head to the Exclusion Periods section of the reward at bottom of the page.
- Against the relevant row, select [DELETE].
The exclusion period is no longer valid against the reward.
