API Secure Keys: Create

To create a new API Key against your company:

• Head to Company Settings > External Access & FTP > API Secure Keys
• Select [GENERATE NEW SECURE KEY]. 

Within the Create Secure Key window, enter: 

• Name: Enter a name for the secure key.
• Email: Enter the email address of the "owner" of this secure key. 
• Company: Enter the name of the company that the API key grants access to. 
• Transaction Source: If the API key will grant access to transaction posting, select which Transaction Source transactions should report against. 

Then select [CREATE].

Once created, you can access the API secure key to:

• Access the secure key.
• Grant access to required end points. 
• Enable/disable the secure key.
