Introduction
Within Centegra Plus, all payment media must be assigned to a payment media type.
Payment media types are a way of grouping together different payment media for consolidated payment reporting. For example, you may have “Visa” and “MasterCard” payment media available on the POS, where both are then assigned to the “Card” media type for consolidation within Centegra Plus.

- Show Deleted: Search for media types which have previously been marked as deleted.
Select [SEARCH], and all media types which meet your search criteria will be listed.
The media types list shows the following:

Deleting Media Types
A media type can be deleted if no longer required, providing that no payment media are assigned to the media type.
You can only delete a media type if you have rights to do so. Click Here if you do not have rights to delete but believe you should.
To delete a media type:
- Head to Company Settings > Payments > Media Types.
- Locate the required media type and select [EDIT].
Within the media type:
- Select [DELETE].
- Confirm the deletion.
The media type is now marked as deleted.
As this is a soft delete, the media type can be recovered if required. To do so, locate the media type (ensuring that the Show Deleted search filter is set to "Yes") and access the media type record again. Select [UNDELETE] and confirm the recovery. The media type is now available again.
