Automatic Pending Bank Deposits - Business Date
The Automatic Pending Bank Deposits feature has been updated to allow selection of which deposit date to use by default, to reflect when cash is expected to be banked.
The available options are:
- End Of Cash Up - The bank deposit date defaults to be the cash up end time.
- Next Day - The bank deposit date defaults to be midday the day after the cash up sales date.
- Next Business Day - The bank deposit date defaults to be midday the day after the cash up sales date, unless that falls on a weekend where it then defaults to be midday the following Monday.
Cash On Site Minimum Balance Threshold
If a minimum balance is defined for cash accounts within your site, the Cash On Site section now has a visual alerts to show as follows:
- Yellow alert - If cash on site is close to the minimum allowed balance. (See threshold below.)
- Red alert - If cash on site is below the minimum allowed balance.
Within the company setup, you can define the Cash On Site Alert Threshold percentage to determine when the yellow alert should show.
Period Management
Previous Period Access
To improve visibility of closing results in a period, within periods a new [PREVIOUS PERIOD] button has been added which opens the previous period in a new browser tab.
Default Period View
Previously, when accessing the Periods section, by default periods in Current, Pending and Approved state showed if the period ended within the last 30 days.
The last 30 days restriction has been removed, so all periods in Current, Pending and Approved state will show by default.
To see periods in Completed state, you can still use the search filters.
Monthly Company Periods
Historically, the Company Periods feature has supported weekly periods only.
This feature has been updated and now also support monthly periods than follow calendar month dates.
Menu Management
Menu Publication Improvements
When accessing the Menu Publications section, by default you will now see any publications scheduled for the future, or scheduled within the last 7 days. Additional publications can be seen by using the search filters.
You can now filter the menu publication list based on selected menus and/or selected menu destinations.
When logged into the HQ site, the Menu Publications section has been updated to include a site picker, allowing you to filter the publication results to selected sites.
Public Product Attributes
Product attributes can now be flagged as Public attributes.
When assigned to a product, any product attribute marked as Public will be assigned to the product for use within menus, where product attributes are supported.
Setup & Administration
Location Day Parts
For sites that have multiple locations, location day parts are now available to assigned to individual locations with a site. Assigning day parts to a location overrides the day part times that are assigned to the site that the location is assigned to.
This is particularly useful if a location within a site requires different day part times for reporting times, or different day part times for managing Remote Order Capacity.
Searching Media By Media Type
Within the media section, you can now use the search filter to isolate payment media based on selected payment media type(s).
Searching Price Levels By Price Level Type
Within the price levels section, you can now use the search filter to isolate price levels based on selected price level type(s).
