Introduction
Centegra Plus's time clock feature allows team members to declare when they start and end their shifts, by utilising the front-of-houses Operations Dashboard tool.
These time clock records can be reviewed, updated and approved within the Time Clocks section of the Centegra Plus back office, where manual time clock records can also be created.
For selected POS integrations, time clock records may get created automatically for clock in and clock out declarations made via the POS.
As optional features, against time clock records the following can also be declared:
- Break start and end times.
- The Job Role worked during the shift, if required.
- Cash tip declarations.
Time Clock States
Information on each of the states that time clocks flow through:
- Open Shift: The time clock can be edited. It currently only has a clock in date.
- Closed Shift: The time clock can be edited. It has both a clock in and clock out date.
- Approved: The time clock record has been approved and can no longer be edited.
- Completed: The time clock is completed and is locked down indefinitely. Typically this occurs once time clock data is posted to a third party.
