The Production Summary report offers a comprehensive overview of production results within a specified stock period, tailored for companies utilising the Product Preparations feature. It provides detailed information on each production made, including use quantities per production product and, when applicable, yield loss quantities. This report is designed to provide enhanced insight into the Preparation column value of the Period Variance report, offering a focused analysis of production outcomes for informed decision-making and operational optimisation.
This report is available only to companies subscribed to the Inventory Management module.
For companies with multiple sites, the data in the report is specific to the site that you are logged in to.
Report Filters
Access the Production Summary report via either:
- The main menu via: Report & Analysis > Period Results > Site Reports > Production Summary.
- Within the Reports section of a sites stock period, select [PRODUCTION SUMMARY].
Select the required report parameter options from:

Report Output
The Product Summary report is a summary of food production for all product preparation records within the period, displaying:
| Product |
Displays the name of the product. |
| Prep Made Qty |
Displays the quantity of the product made, if applicable. |
| Prep Used Qty |
Displays the quantity of the product used, if applicable. |
| Yield Loss |
Displays the difference between expected production quantities and actual production quantities. |
| Size |
Displays the product size that the quantity above is based on. |
