Report Information
The Production Summary report gives a clear overview of production activity within a selected stock period, specifically for companies using the Product Preparations feature. It details each production made, including quantities used per product and any yield loss where applicable. This report also supports a deeper understanding of the Preparation values shown in the Period Variance report, helping businesses better analyse production outcomes and optimise operations.
This report is available only to companies subscribed to the Inventory Management module.
Access the Production Summary report via either:
- The main menu via: Report & Analysis > Period Results > Site Reports > Production Summary.
- Directly with each individual Stock Period.

Report Output
The report displays a summary of food production for all product preparation records within the period.

| Prep Made Qty |
Displays the quantity of the product made, if applicable. |
| Prep Used Qty |
Displays the quantity of the product used, if applicable. |
| Yield Loss |
Displays the difference between expected production quantities and actual production quantities. |
| Size |
Displays the product size that the quantity above is based on. |
