The Cash Account Variance report provides a clear summary of cash movements for each cash account during a given period. It compares declared cash counts against expected values and highlights any variances that may need further review. This report is available only to companies subscribed to the Revenue Management module.
The report is accessed directly with each individual Cash Period.
Report Output
The report summaries all cash movement activity for all Cash, Float and Control type site accounts throughout the duration of the period.

Account |
Displays the name of the site account being reported on. |
Type |
Displays the site account type. |
Opening |
Displays the opening balance of this account at the start of the period; this reflects the count entered at the close of the previous period. |
Cash Up Deposits |
Displays the value of cash deposited into this account from approved cash ups. |
Cash Purchases |
Displays the value of cash deposited into this account, or removed from this account, when approving cash purchases. |
Movements |
Displays the value of cash moved in to or out of the account using a cash movement. |
Banking |
Displays the value deposited from the account when declaring deposits to the bank. |
Expected |
Displays the value of cash expected at the end of the period, based on the opening count plus/minus any movements during the period. |
Counted |
Displays the value of cash counted against cash count sheets within the current period. |
Variance |
Displays the difference between the expected value and the value counted. |
