The Product KMS Names report is a tool available for companies using the Logwood KMS solution, and provides a list of products and the KMS name assigned to that product.
This report can also be used to quickly update KMS name assigned to the product. To do this, you need Update rights to this report within your user role. (If you don't have Update rights, Click Here.)
For companies with multiple sites, the report generated is specific to the products, so can be run against any site.
Report Filters
Access the Product KMS Names report via: Reports & Analysis > Data > Product KMS Names.
Select the required report parameter options from:
| Product Name |
Enter the name (or part of the name) of a product to select. |
| PLU |
Enter the PLU of a product to select. |
| Centegra Plus Product ID |
Enter the ID of a product to select. |
| Product Groups |
Select which product groups to include. If left blank, all groups will be included. |
| Product Family |
Select which product to include based on the selected product family. |
| Merchant |
For multi-merchant companies only, select which merchant to return products for. If left blank, products from all merchants will be included. (Only lists POS merchants associated with the site, unless logged into the HQ site where all merchants are listed.) |
Report Output
The Product KMS Names report is a table containing three columns, displaying:
| Product ID |
Displays the products unique ID. Select this to view the product. |
| Product Name |
Displays the products back office description. |
| KMS Name |
Displays the products KMS name – the description which shows on the Logwood KMS kitchen print and/or screen for remote orders. |
To update the KMS Name assigned to the product, simply enter the name that you want to show on the kitchen print and/or screen in the KMS Name column. The Print/KMS has a limit of 20 characters per line. When clicking out of the field if the border is green the name is 20 characters or less; if the border is red the name is over 20 characters.
