Report Information
The Card Type Use report summarises card payment totals processed through the POS for sites with integrated card payments. It provides insights into the distribution of different card types, helping you track payment trends and streamline reconciliation and decision-making.
Note that this report is aimed at users on legacy POS systems; for more recent POS solutions, it is recommended that the Media Totals report is used for card payment media.
Access the Card Type Use report via: Reports & Analysis > Payments > Card Type Use.
The output of the report can very depending on the selected report filter options.
If required, this report can be created as a Saved Report and set up to send out periodically.

Select which till(s) to report on. If left blank, all tills will be included. |

The first level of the Card Type Use report is a summary of payments received per card type category.

Displays the name of the till that the payment took place on. |
Card Type |
Displays the card type category. |
Payment Count |
Displays the number of payments entered per card type category. |
Total Amount |
Displays the total amount of payment received per card type category. |
Level 2 - Card Type Totals
The second level of the Card Type Use report is a summary of payments received per card type within the selected card type category.
