Report Information
The Sales Summary report provides a daily snapshot of key sales metrics for each site, along with a consolidated total. Easily visualise these insights with a chart for a clearer, more intuitive understanding of your data.
Access the Sales Summary report via: Reports & Analysis > Sales > Sales Summary.
The output of the report can very depending on the selected report filter options.
If required, this report can be created as a Saved Report and set up to send out periodically.

The table below summarises report filter options available for this report.
Select Sites |
Select which sites and/or site groups to include in the report. |
Date Range |
Select which date range to include sales for. |
Section 1 - Sales Chart
The first section of the report contains a chart tracking daily net sales within the selected date range per site.

The chart is interactive; you can hover over the chart plot to view the exact net sales figure, and select the site(s) in the chart legend to show/hide the data on the chart
Section 2 - Site Sales Summary
The second section of the report provides a summary of key sales information per site.

Site |
Displays the name of the site that sales are for. |
Trans Count |
Displays the Transaction Count for the site. |
Average Sale |
Displays the average gross transaction value. |
Tax |
Displays the total tax value. |
Discount |
Displays the total discount value. |
Sales Gross |
Displays the total gross sale value. (Excludes discount.) |
Sales Net |
Displays the total net sale value. (Excludes discount and tax.) |
Sales (%) |
Displays the proportion of sales across the entire report. |
Section 3 - Site Daily Sales
The third section of the report displays is split into sections per site, and displays the same key sales information but this time broken down by individual date.
