Report Information
The Sales Heatmap report visually highlights peak sales times at your site, showing when products sell the most throughout the day. This intuitive report helps you identify high-traffic periods, giving you the insights needed to optimise operations and make the most of peak sales moments.
Access the Sales Heatmap report via: Reports & Analysis > Sales > Sales Heatmap.
The output of the report can very depending on the selected report filter options.
If required, this report can be created as a Saved Report and set up to send out periodically.
Information on report filter options
The table below summarises report filter options available for this report.
Select Sites |
Select which sites and/or site groups to include in the report. |
Date Range |
Select which date range to include sales for. |
View Type |
Select whether to view the report as:

Tills |
Select which till(s) to report on. If left blank, sales from all tills will be included. |
Product |
Select which product(s) to include in the report. If left blank, sales all products are included. (Unless the View Type Split By Product is selected as you must pick up to 10 products.) |
Colour Axis |
Use the Colour Axis to determine the colour-weighting within the chart. It's recommended that this is left as the default when first running the report, and adjusted as required based on the data displayed. |
Report Output
The Sales Heatmap report presents a table, were each row represents each day within the selected date range, and each column representing each 15 minute slot within a 24-hour period.
The data shown is based on the quantity of products sold, represented by a colour as per the colour axis.
If the View Type Split By Till or Split By Product is selected, you will see a separate table per till / product.
