Report Introduction
The Revenue Analysis report provides an overview of sales revenue, broken down by revenue centre and revenue account. Where relevant, this report also separates out service charge and displays covers and customer counts.
Access the Revenue Analysis report via: Reports & Analysis > Sales > Revenue Analysis.
The output of the report can very depending on the selected report filter options.
If required, this report can be created as a Saved Report and set up to send out periodically.
Information on report filter options
The table below summarises report filter options available for this report.
Select Sites |
Select which sites and/or site groups to include in the report. |
Date Range |
Select which date range to include sales revenue for. |
View Gross Or Net Values |
Select whether to display revenue in the report as Gross or Net. |
Report Output
Per site, the report provides an overview of key sales performance metrics, broken down by sales revenue account.
Additional information on this view
The table below summarises the data shown in each column of this report view.
Site Name |
Displays the name of the site being reported. |
Revenue Centre |
Displays each revenue centre (location) within the site. |
Revenue Account |
Displays the revenue account at which sales within the revenue centre shown are assigned to. This is based on the Sales Account allocated against each product group. |
Gross/Net |
Displays the gross / net sales value for each revenue account (as per the selected filter option). |
Sales Sub Total |
Displays the total sales against each revenue account, less service charge. |
Service Charge |
Displays the service charge and tips total within the revenue centre. |
Revenue Centre Total |
Displays the total sales against each revenue account, plus service charge. |
Covers |
Displays the quantity of covers declared. |
Average Spend Per Cover |
Displays the average spend per cover, based on the sales sub total. |
Customers |
Displays the Customer Count. |
Average Spend Per Customer |
Displays the average spend per customer, based on the sales sub total. |
