The Like-for-Like report gives you a clear comparison of net sales across different sites. For a selected date, see how your sales compare to the previous day, the same day last week, and the same day last year. This report helps you track trends, understand performance shifts, and make informed decisions. It’s essentially a report version of the interactive Like for Like Dashboard, providing a structured view of your sales data.
Access the Like For Like report via: Reports & Analysis > Sales > Like For Like.
If required, this report can be created as a Saved Report and set up to send out periodically.
Note that yearly comparisons follow a 52 or 53 week calendar based on the ISO Week Date standard.

The table below summarises report filter options available for this report.
Select Sites | Select which sites and/or site groups to include in the report. |
Report Date | Select which date to report on, or select either Today or Yesterday. |
Transactions Up To (Time) | If the Today option is selected, enter a time to specify which time sales up until should be included in the report. |

Level 1 - Site Comparison
The first level of the report provides a like for like net sales comparison for each site.

The table below summarises the data shown in each column of this report view.
Site | Displays the sites name. |
Date | Displays net sales for the date show. (If the current date, shows sales for transactions up until the Transactions Up To time.) |
Day Before | Displays comparable net sales for the previous date. |
Week Before | Displays comparable net sales for the same day last week. |
4 Weeks Avg. | Displays an average of comparable net sales for the same day over the previous 4 weeks. (Average calculation excludes days with no sales.) |
Year Before | Displays comparable net sales for the same day last year. |
Last Transaction | Displays the time of the last transaction for site within the report date timeframe. |
Percentage comparison indicators are also shown, where grey is a difference within +/- 5%; red is a difference less than -5%; green is a difference greater than 5%.
Level 2 - Hourly Sales Comparison
The second level of the report is provides a like for like net sales comparison per hour for the site selected in Level 1.

Level 3 - Transaction List
The third level of the report is a list each transaction that took place within the sales hour selected in Level 2.

Transaction ID | Displays the ID of the transaction. Select this to see the Full Transaction. |
Transaction Date | Displays the date and time that the transaction occurred. |
Till | Displays the till that the transaction took place on. |
Team Member | Displays the team member that finalised the sale. |
Sale Type | Displays the Transaction Type. |
Gross | Displays the transaction gross sale value. (Excludes discount.) |
Net | Displays the transaction net sale value. (Excludes discount and tax.) |
