Introduction
The Menu Builder feature is an important part of the Menu Management module where you can easily create and manage menus to be used across different platforms.
Against a menu:
- Specify where and when the menu the menu is available.
- Create Menu Categories to structure your menu logically.
- Add Menu Items into those categories representing products available on the menu.
- Allocate Modifier Groups against menu items to represent modifications, options and upsell prompts.
The menu then inherits many settings defined at product level including images, descriptions, prices and attributes; as well as settings defined at modifier group level including modifiers, selection options and pricing.
For businesses that operate multiple sites and share menus, it's a good idea to use the Menu Builder while logged into the Head Office site. This way, you can access all menus across your company, making the menu management process more efficient.
