Introduction
Within Centegra Plus, all price levels are assigned to price level types. This is a way of combining similar price levels for reporting purposes.
For example, you may have distinct price levels for different delivery aggregators (e.g. Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat), but for the added option of consolidated reporting, each of these price levels can be assigned to one price level type (e.g. Delivery).
Creating Price Level Types
Head to Product Management > Price Setup > Price Level Types.
To create a new price level type:
- Select [NEW PRICE LEVEL TYPE].
- Price Level Type Name: Enter a name for the price level type.
- Select [SAVE].
The price level type is now available to assign to price levels.
Editing Price Level Types
Existing price level types can be renamed if required.
Head to Product Management > Price Setup > Price Level Types.
- Locate the required price level type and select [EDIT].
- Price Level Type Name: Edit the name as required.
- Select [SAVE].
Searching Price Level Types
Access the Price Level Types section via: Product Management > Price Setup > Price Level Types.
All price level types are shown by default when accessing this section.
If required, you can filter the list to see specific price level types, by using the following filters within the Search panel at the top of the section:
- Price Level Type Name: Search for price level types based on the name entered (or part of).
- Show Deleted: Select whether to include price level types that are marked as deleted in results.
Select [SEARCH], and all price level types which meet your search criteria will be listed in name order.
The price level types list shows the following:
- Price Level Type Name: Displays the name of the price level types
Using the arrows on the right-hand side of the table, the price level types can be dragged-and-dropped into a custom order, used by some custom reports, and extracts as required.
Deleting Price Level Types
A price level type can be deleted if no longer required, but only if no price levels are assigned to it.
You can only delete a price level type if you have rights to do so. Click Here if you do not have rights to delete but believe you should.
To delete a price level type:
- Head to Product Management > Price Setup > Price Level Types.
- Locate the required price level type and select [EDIT].
Within the price level type:
- Select [DELETE].
- Confirm the deletion.
The price level type is now marked as deleted.
As this is a soft delete, the price level type can be recovered if required. To do so, locate the price level type (ensuring that the Show Deleted search filter is set to "Yes") and access the price level type record again. Select [UNDELETE] and confirm the recovery. The price level type is now available again.
