Sales & Reporting
Credit Card Type As Payment Media
For companies using integrated EMVs for credit card payments through the NCR Silver POS, historically credit card payments have been reported in Centegra Plus against a single payment media line called "Credit Card".
It is now possible to break out the payment media line in Centegra Plus to report based on the card type used at the POS, i.e. Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover.
For companies subscribed to the Revenue Management module, these individual card type payments can be configured to generate deposits against the relevant acquirer account, to simplify the reconciliation process.
Note that this change has not been implemented automatically for your company. If you use the NCR Silver POS and have integrated EMVs, and would like to take advantage of this change, contact the Centegra support team.
Service Charge & Card Tips As Payment Media
For companies using the NCR Silver POS, historically service charge and credit card tips (entered via integrated EMVs) have displayed against transactions in Centegra Plus as a sale item, therefore inflating true net sales.
It is now possible to treat both service charge and integrated credited card tips as a payment line within the transaction instead. By doing so, net sales within Centegra Plus is no longer inflated with these non-revenue values, and so manual filtering within reports is no longer required.
Additionally, for companies subscribed to the Revenue Management module, both service charge and integrated credited card tips can be configured to generate deposits against the relevant liability deposit account.
Note that this change has not been implemented automatically for your company. If you use service charge and/or integrated credit card tips within the NCR Silver POS, and would like to take advantage of this change, contact the Centegra support team.
Average Sales Report - New Location Picker
Since it's creation, the Average Sales report has had the standard 'Site Picker' within the report filter form, providing you with the option to report on any site, or sites, within your company.
The report also now has a new 'Location Picker' too, with a toggle to allow you to switch between the 'Site Picker' and 'Location Picker'.
This provides companies that have sites containing multiple locations within the site with the ability to report at individual location level, and also provides the ability to compare locations of a similar nature from different sites against each other.
Menu Management
Menu Management Feature Introduced For Just Eat
Within Centegra Plus, the Menu Management feature has been introduced for the Just Eat sales channel.
This provides the ability to build and publish menus to Just Eat via Centegra Plus, using product settings already existing within your Centegra Plus back office.
Alongside this, the product suspensions feature has been introduced to provide the ability to flag products as unavailable within any live Just Eat menus for your sites.
Product Updates (For Menu Management)
As part of the Menu Management feature, additional options are now available within the product setup in Centegra Plus.
The product Allergens & Nutrition tab provides you with the option to enter product Calories to show on the sales channel platform.
The product Images tab provides you with the option to upload an image, or to store a public URL for a hosted image, to show on the sales channel platform. Note that each sales channel has specific requirements for images, and may require image approval. Centegra Plus does not validate nor approve any images, nor does Centegra Plus receive updates on image approval status.
Within modifier groups, the Used By tab provides you with visibility of where the modifier group is assigned, either against individual products within a menu, or against the product setup in general.
Digital Kitchen Management
KMS Name Management Updates
For improved visibility of products within the KMS, the product KMS Name attribute is now limited to a maximum of 20 characters.
Additionally, the KMS Product Name report now provides an alert to notify of any product name differences between what will send to the KMS from the NCR Silver POS and what will send to the KMS from Centegra Plus for remote sales integrations.
KMS 'Force PLU' Feature For Modifiers
Some remote sales channels provide Centegra Plus with meal deal options and with product upsells as a modifier of another product. As a result, products which are not inherently modifiers are sent to the KMS as a modifier, which can lead to products showing in the incorrect cook area of the kitchen.
To overcome this, you can now flag products with the Force As PLU On KMS setting within the products Product Detail tab. Any product flagged with this setting will always be treated as a standard product on the KMS - never as a modifier - regardless of how the remote sales channel sends the product to Centegra Plus.
This is useful to enable for standard products often included as an option within meal deals, or often prompted as an upsell product within the remote sales channel platform.
Inventory Management
Price Level & Location Recipe Adjustments
For some time now, it has been possible to assign price level recipe adjustments against a recipe product, to alter the recipe when sold on a selected price level; OR to assign location recipe adjustments against a recipe product, to adjust the recipe when sold at a selected location.
To enhance the options available here, it is now also possible to assign a combined price level AND location recipe adjustment against a recipe, to alter the recipe when sold on the selected price level at the selected location.
