Introduction
In Centegra Plus Product Management, price levels serve as repositories for storing product price and tax settings, accommodating various pricing structures and meeting specific reporting needs.
For instance, distinct price levels may be designated for 'Eat In' and 'Take Out' to reflect differing pricing strategies. Alternatively, separate price levels for various distinct delivery aggregators may be maintained to provide additional sales reporting by aggregator, even if the prices remain the same.
Centegra Plus features two distinct types of price levels:
-
Centegra Plus: These are created and managed within Centegra Plus, intended for use in remote order integrations and in back-office ordering.
-
POS: These are automatically created as part of a POS integration, serving as reference points for POS pricing information only.
To streamline organisation and reporting, each price level is associated with a Price Level Type, grouping similar price levels together. For example, various price levels related to different delivery aggregators may fall under the overarching 'Delivery' media type for consolidated reporting.
