Introduction
When creating a new menu, there are two options available:
When designing menus intended for use across various sites, it is advisable to create and associate them with the Head Office site. This approach allows for the seamless association of menu items with locations spanning multiple sites.
Create A New Menu From Scratch
To create a new menu from scratch:
- Head to Menu Management > Menu Builder.
- Select [CREATE NEW MENU].
Within the Create New Menu window, enter:
- Menu Name: Enter the name of the menu as it should be known to you in Cinchio back office only.
Select [CREATE].
You'll then be taken into the menu where the next steps are to:
- Add in Menu Settings to define core settings.
- Create Menu Categories for your menu items to get assigned to.
- Add Menu Items into those categories to specify which products are available on the menu.
- Associate Locations & Destinations to specify where the menu can be used.
Create A New Menu By Copying An Existing Menu
To create a new menu from a copy of an existing menu:
- Head to Menu Management > Menu Builder.
- Against the menu that is being copied, select [EDIT].
- Within the menu, select [COPY MENU].
Within Copy Menu window:
- Menu Name: Enter a name for the new menu being created.
- Include Menu Destination & Timings Settings?: Select this if the new menu being created should inherit the locations and destinations assigned to the existing menu, along with any override times for those locations.
Then select [COPY].
You'll then be taken into the menu where the next steps are to:
- Add in Menu Settings to define core settings.
- Create Menu Categories for your menu items to get assigned to.
- Add Menu Items into those categories to specify which products are available on the menu.
- Associate Locations & Destinations to specify where the menu can be used.
