Introduction
Once the kitchen preparation has been completed, the product preparation within Centegra Plus needs to be marked as Made. This should be done in a timely manner, to ensure accurate live stock on hand quantities for products within the site.
The process of marking a product preparation as Made is dependant on the type of production product:
Made Type Products
To update Made type products as Made:
- Head to Inventory Management > Product Preparations.
- Locate the product preparation within the schedule list.
Against the product preparation row:
- Check that the Made Qty is correct, based on the size label shown, and change this if required.
- Then select [MADE].
The product preparation will update to Made state and:
- The stock on hand of the Made product will increase by the Made Qty.
- The stock on hand of the ingredients of the Made product will decreased based on the recipe.
Preparation Type Products
To update Preparation type products as Made:
- Head to Inventory Management > Product Preparations.
- Locate the product preparation within the schedule list.
Against the product preparation row:
- Check that the Made Qty is correct, based on the size label shown, and change this if required.
- Then select [MADE].
Within the Confirm Product Make window, check that:
- Made Date Time reflects the time that the production took place.
- The quantity of the Preparation product being made is correct.
- The quantity of the ingredient product being used is correct (based on the recipe expected yield).
If everything is correct, select [CONFIRM MADE].
However, if adjustments need to be made as the actual production yield is different to the expected production yield based on the product recipe, select [CANCEL].
If Adjustments Are Needed For Preparation Product Production...
To input the adjusted production figures, against the product preparation select [EDIT].
Within the product preparation record, first ensure that the dates are correct:
- Scheduled Date Time: Displays the time that the product preparation was scheduled.
- Made Date Time: Select the time that the product preparation was made.
For the product being produced, the following is available:
- Made Product: Displays the Preparation product being made within the product preparation.
- Scheduled Qty: Displays the quantity to be made that was scheduled.
- Made Qty: Enter the actual quantity of the product that was physically made.
For the ingredient product that was used, the following is available:
- Used Product: Displays the ingredient product being used to make the product preparation.
- Expected Used Qty: Displays the quantity of the ingredient product that should have been used, based on the scheduled quantity of the Made product and its Expected Yield (based on the recipe).
- Actual Used Qty: Enter the actual quantity of the product that was physically used.
For reference only, the following information is shown:
- Recipe Ratio: Displays the ingredient to Preparation product ratio, based on the recipe.
- Expected Yield: Displays the expected production yield, based on the recipe.
- Actual Yield: Displays the actual yield within this product preparation, based on the Made Qty entered for the Preparation product and the Actual Used Qty entered for the ingredient product.
- Yield Loss: Displays the quantity of the ingredient product that will be written off to yield loss wastage, if the product preparation yield differs to the recipe yield.
Once the correct quantities have been entered, select [MAKE].
The product preparation will update to Made state and:
- The stock on hand of the Preparation product will increase by the Made Qty entered.
- The stock on hand of the ingredient product decreased by the Actual Used Qty entered.
- A negative or positive wastage record will automatically create for the ingredient product based on the quantity of the yield loss shown. (Recorded against the wastage type that is assigned as the "
