Introduction
Within Centegra Plus, wastage can be entered in one of two ways:
Create Via Centegra Plus Back Office
Create The Wastage
To create wastage:
- Head to Inventory Management > Wastage > Wastage.
- Select [NEW WASTAGE].
In the New Wastage window, select either:
- [WASTAGE TEMPLATE] and then select the Wastage Template to use from the Template list.
- [CREATE WITHOUT TEMPLATE] if no wastage template is required.
Then select [CREATE WASTAGE].
Enter The Wastage Details
Next, enter the following wastage details at the top of the page:
- Wastage Date: Select the date (and time, if applicable) of the wastage
- Type: Select the relevant Wastage Reason from the list.
- Day Part: If the Wastage Day Parts feature is enabled, select the day part to assign the wastage to.
- Location: Select the location within your site where the wastage occurred.
Enter The Wastage Items
Once all wastage details are entered, products can be selected to waste.
If a wastage template was selected when creating the wastage, product will be listed as per the wastage template configuration. Against applicable products, simply enter the wastage quantity into the relevant quantity field(s).
To select a new product to waste, select [ADD ITEM].
In the blank row at the bottom of the list:
- Product: Select the waste product from the list.
- Qty: Enter the quantity being wasted into the relevant quantity field(s).
Repeat until all wastage items are entered.
Approve The Wastage
Once all wastage items have been entered, select either:
- [SAVE] to save the wastage in Preparation state to be Approved later on.
- [SAVE & APPROVE] to approve the wastage instantly.
Once approved, the stock on hand balance of each product within the wastage will be reduced based on the quantity entered.
Create Via Centegra Plus Operations Dashboard
Wastage can also be created FOH via the Operations Dashboard, without requiring back office login into Centegra Plus. For more information on this process, Click Here.
