Introduction
This article contains information on creating yield products within Centegra Plus as part of the Inventory Management module. A "yield" recipe product is one which:
- Contains one ingredient based on an expected yield ratio, which converts a product from one state to another state. (e.g., converts Raw Beef to Cooked Beef, or converts Dry Rice to Boiled Rice.)
- Is not typically sold, as it exists only to user as an ingredient within other recipe products.
A yield recipe product does not include the scenarios listed below:
- A standard saleable recipe. For setting up these products, Click Here.
- Yield recipes required for the Product Preparations feature, as these should be stock type Preparation. For setting up Preparation products, Click Here.
- Recipes that representing batches made up as part of kitchen production (when not using the Product Preparations feature). For setting up these products, Click Here.
