The safe counts feature is used to compare a declared count of an account against what the balance is in Centegra Plus.
Safe counts are for reference only; the balance of any account is not updated based on the count declared in a safe count.
Site accounts must be enabled to allow safe counts against that account. To do so, enable the Include In Safe Counts within the Site Account Setup of any Cash or Control type account, and assign a Count Template to use.
The safe counts feature is also used as a method of capturing cashier counts, as part of the related Cashier Counts feature.
