The PiKS is emulating an Epson Printer so it will not normally appear in the list of kitchen printers to be added and will need to be manually added on the till.
To add this as a printer you will need to go to Setting within the Silver app -> Kitchen printers then add a Local or Shared printer depending on setup -> Specify Printer Manually, this will then ask you how it is connected, select wired directly to router.
Then enter the IP address of the PiKS and select done, if the IP address is correct it will send you next page.
If the IP address is not correct it will say a printer cannot be found.
You should then see a list of available printers that have been setup to work on this site, you many see many printers in the list but the only one which will work it the one called KP, this is because the integration relies on this naming.
In NCR silver back office on the Kitchen Routing setup, the Kitchen printer device must be named KP as well.
See example on how this should appear below.
Once you have selected the KP printer you should have something like below,
Please note that printing a test will not appear on the PiKS and that safe mode needs to be off for the PiKS to receive tickets
Once you have items that have been setup to print to the in the kitchen routing (for example Coffees) tickets should start to appear when transactions are made (however the first one will fail so send two tickets). This will appear as below.
