Here is a step by step guide on how to add or remove User Roles in the POS.
- Open NCR silver and log in with using your credentials. Silver UK
- Select "Company View / All Stores" (this is so we can see employees only assigned to one store)
- Go to Employees.
- Select User Roles. From here you can see all user roles already created and the privileges each role has.
- To create a new 'User Role' press the the 'Add a User Role' button.
- You will see this pop up, Enter the name of the User Role. The other fields are optional, leave them blank or as default unless you have need to change them. Then Save Changes.
- You will now see the newly created role along the top of the User Role Table.
- You can now add what ever access and privileges you'd like to the Role by using the check marks.
To Remove a User Role in the POS
Caution! Removing a User Role from Silver is permanent and cannot be undone. Please be absolutely certain you wish to remove a User Role before proceeding.
- To remove a user role, select the role you'd like to remove and you will see this pop up.
- Press 'Delete User Role'
- You will be given this warning, press ok. The User Role will then be deleted and you will be returned to the User Roles page.
