Silver allows you to create price lists that are specific to certain stores, or order modes.
When would this be used?
This feature would be used when a store is on a different pricing structure to another.
For example, if one of your stores in central London has higher prices than your stores in another part of the country, you could create a price list called "London Pricing", and assign that to the store there. The pricing would then be used by the tills located there.
Using price lists in Silver
1. Navigate to Menu
2. Select Price lists
Creating a new price list
On this page, you will be able to see any existing price lists currently in your Silver account. Additionally, you will see any scheduled time frames applied to them or events.
To create a new price list, press "Add a Price List".
You can then set the name of the Price List, if it should be scheduled by any events, a start and end date if applicable, the stores this Price List will apply to and which order modes it will apply to.
Below this, you will see a list of all your items. Promotions can also have prices assigned via price list, this is good for deals that would be running at a different price due to other pricing being different.
Once done, press SAVE to confirm your changes.
Things to be aware of
- The order of price lists sets the priority, the highest price list will take precedence over the other price lists. Use the Sort Order button to change this.
- Variation products will show in the "Items" tab.
- If you do not set a price for a product, it will use the default price set on the product setup.
- You cannot edit Price List prices from the product page, you must do it in the Price List section.
