MyVenue - Using Gift Cards

Topping Up A Gift Card

To top up a gift card, select "Top Up Gift Card":

Enter the amount to top up:

Scan the gift card, or enter the gift card card manually. This will then show the top up in the basket:

Close the transaction to cash, card, or another payment method.

Paying With A Gift Card

To pay with a gift card, select "Pay With Gift Card":

Press 'Pay with Gift Card to pay the whole balance, press and hold 'Pay with Gift Card' to pay off some of the balance.
Enter the amount to pay off:

Scan the gift card, or enter the gift card card manually. This will then show the payment in the basket:

If prompted, enter a tip amount (if applicable):

If any balance remains, close the transaction to cash, card or another payment method.

Checking A Gift Card Balance

To check a gift card balance, click and hold "Pay With Gift Card":

When prompted, select "Check Balance":

Scan the gift card, or enter the gift card card manually. This will then show the current balance.

Refunding Onto A Gift Card

To refund onto a gift card, follow the Paying With Gift Card section above alongside Entering A Refund. 

Voiding A Gift Card Top Up / Payment

If you have topped up a gift card, or part redeemed a gift card, providing that the transaction is still open on the POS you can void the payment line as standard.

This will void any action taken against the gift card whilst the transaction was open. 

Refunding A Gift Card

It is not possible to refund a gift card.
