Following the introduction of our new and exciting Dashboard Views feature earlier this year, we'll be retiring the landing page sales widgets on 30th September 2024.
If you've not yet set up your new sales dashboards, now is the time to make a start.
For more information, check out These Articles on configuring dashboards or feel free to Get In Touch With Centegra to discuss further.
What Does This Mean For My Landing Page Current Dashboard?
Any sales widgets currently on your landing page will no longer be available after this date.
Only sales widgets are being retired, so you'll still have visibility of other types of widgets if they are on your landing page currently.
How Do I Set Up New Sales Dashboards?
Check out These Articles on configuring dashboard views.
Configuration of Dashboard Views is protected by user role rights. Users that have permission to create and update sales dashboards need to be assigned to a user role with access to the "Manage Dashboard Views" right. For details on how to enable this, Click Here.
Bear in mind that dashboards created within the Dashboard Views section are companywide, so take that into consideration when allocating access to this section.
Why Are The Landing Page Sales Widgets Being Retired?
The new Dashboards Views option introduces many new features and provides additional benefits to your sales dashboard experience, including:
- More Sales Widgets: Some familiar widgets are available as well as some new ones.
- Customisable Widgets: Tailor individual widgets to suit your business requirements.
- Multi-Site View: Dashboards can include data for multiple sites for a wider sales view.
- Consistency: Dashboards are configured at HQ level, ensuring all users see the same data.
- User Control: Dashboards are linked to user roles so that the right users see the right dashboards.
- Schedule: Dashboards can be scheduled to email to users periodically.
- Previous Data: Unlike the landing page, dashboards can be viewed for any previous date.

On the landing page you'll have quick links into all Dashboards that you have access to, allowing you to get access to sales data quickly once logged on.
Does This Affect Widgets On The Operations Dashboard?
Yes, widgets shown on the landing page of the Operations Dashboard are also affected as this area will also be able to take advantage of the new sales widgets available.
When the widgets list above get retired, you'll also be able to assign a custom dashboard at company level to show on the Operations Dashboard landing page like so:
