Adding Items
Adding items can to your order can differ depending on how the item is set up in the back office. Below we will explore the different ways items can be added to the basket.
Single Items
To add a single item to your order, press on the desired item, then this will be added to your basket.
Add Multiple Single Items
If you want to add multiple quantities of the same item, press and hold the product button.
This will give you the option to change the number by pressing on it and entering the number you require on the pop-up keyboard.
Or you can add/remove using the plus + and minus - symbols.
Once done, select 'Update Order' at the bottom right.
You can also access this option by selecting on the product if it is already in the basket.
Items with Variations
Some items may have variations, which means once you select the product, it will then give the variations available for that product.
For example, the Red Wine selected below can be purchased in different glass sizes or by bottle. Select the variation you would like then press 'Update Order'.
Items with Modifiers
Some items have modifiers that allow you to add additional items or instructions to the product.
For example, below the Cappuccino has a two modifiers: a 'Milk Type' modifier, and a 'Coffee Extras' modifier, which you can pick between in the left hand column.
With 'Milk Type' selected, we can see the various options available. Select the one you wish to add to the product then select 'Update Order'.
You will now see the product with it's chosen modifiers in the basket.
Select the modifiers you would like to add, if any, then press 'Add to Order'.
You will now see that item in the order.
Removing Items
To remove an item, swipe on it from right to left, then press the 'Bin' icon. The item will then be removed from the order.
Ungrouping an item using Quantity Breakout
To ungroup an item press on an item that has multiple quantities.
This will change the information shown in the right hand window. From here, press the 'Quantity Breakout' button. This will allow you to divide the items on the order by removing item from the group.
In this case it will remove 1 Cappuccino from the group of 2. If you were to have 5 Cappuccinos and used the quantity breakout, it would remove 1 from the 5, so you would end up with 4 Cappuccinos in a group and 1 individual. You can repeat the quantity breakout as many times as you wish.
Once you have split the items to your satisfaction, press the 'Update Order' button to return to the normal POS screen.
Cancelling the Ticket
To cancel the ticket, press the 'Cancel Sale' button.
You will then see a pop up asking to confirm you want to cancel the order.
If you press cancel, you will be returned to the previous screen. If you select 'OK' you will then be asked for the reason of the cancelation. These are user defined in the back office.
You will then see the items struck out and the value of the sale reduced to 0.
You will then be automatically logged out and returned to the login screen.
