Frequently Asked Questions
Can I Transfer To/From An External Site Not Using Inventory?
Within Centegra Plus, by default it is only possible to dispatch transfers to, or receive transfers from, an existing site within Centegra Plus, but you can also enable the ability to transfer to or from an external source, allowing a site to increase or decrease stock on hand when stock transfers are done externally.
This is enabled on a per site basis. To enable this:
- Log into the site that needs access to external transfers.
- Head to Company Settings > Site Setup > Sites.
Within the site setup page:
- Select the Inventory Management tab.
- Allow External Transfers: Set this option to Yes or No as required for this site.
Select [SAVE SITE].
Tip: If external transfers are used extensively within your company, you may wish to take advantage of Transfer Reporting Reasons to help keep track of external transfers.
What Types Of Product Can Be Transferred?
When creating a stock transfer, the following Inventory Products are available to select:
- All Supplied type products.
- Any Recipe type products that have been enabled to "Allow Batch Counting".
Note that when transferring a Recipe type product, behind the scenes it is the Supplied components that make up that recipe which are transferred proportionally based on the recipe setup.
